Affirmations and Expectancies | Lone Doctrine

October 1, 2016

An affirmation is a new way of thinking in terms of practicing positive thinking and self-empowerment, some even say that “a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything.”

One of the biggest reasons most people don’t get what they want is because they give up too soon. Perseverance is actually KEY right next to adaptability, this concept reminds me of the quote. “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the different results.”

According to the law of expectancy, the results are attracted into your life by means of the predominating thoughts which are in your mind. This is true on both spectrums whether you refer to what you want or don’t want. If you put yourself in a mindset of what you want, you’ll attract more. In the same breath if you think about what you don’t want, you’ll attract more of what you DO NOT want.

What burns deep inside you? What do you dream about? What if instead of saying “I want” you live as if you had, you send gratitude out each and every day in a new type of expectancy affirmation.

“Thank you for making me well.” “Thank you that I can pay my bills.” “Thank you for the promotion at my job.” “Thank you for keeping my family safe.” “Thank you that my dreams are coming true.”

What do you have to lose? Revaluate your current affirmations and create them in a state of expectancy.
