If you look at the foundation in success and goal setting there’s a few things that are common place.
The need for purpose, the need for value, and the need for personal confidence.
The fact is, when goal setting you’re most likely taking your current situation and envisioning a more ideal outcome. What we have to mindful of is to not let this thinking take us into an unmotivated state where we get stuck in longing, wishing, or wanting. The longing, wishing, or wanting mental space will keep you exactly there; longing, wishing, or wanting. We have to put our comparison of present and ideal into ACTION.
It’s time to create a Goal Contract. In this contract you’re going to outline your goal into every detail. The more detailed you can get, the more precise the plan will be and your ACTIONS will speak for themselves.
Sometimes our biggest enemy is ourselves, sometimes the only thing that stands in our way, is YOU. So it’s time to get out of your own way and make today better than yesterday.
