So what causes negativity? Well, that’s a loaded question and over the years I’ve found that it’s a combo of a lot of different aspects of life. Whether it be what we’ve been taught, our upbringing, our experiences, down to the scientific make up in our brain and body to even a particular stance on belief systems. There’s no ONE cause, if you really THINK about the complexity of our minds.
When a positive thought is met with a negative thought whether built from doubt, fear, or otherwise we tend to be more consumed by the negative stance rather than the positive. Your inner dialogue has a HUGE part in a negative mindset.
Have you ever taken the time to just be the observer? To just listen and watch your inner thoughts, your inner dialogue? Remember these are feelings, emotions, and thoughts that come and go but they do not define who you are. Stand back and just listen, it’s in that moment you’ll realize just where you stand. Then you will be presented with the opportunity to break any cycles that are no longer serving you.
