"If you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." Our perspective can vary the way we see the world. Perspective can impact our relationships, our family, it can even change a situation from worse to better. Perspective is an important ingredient in your life.
Sometimes our own perspective is the very cause of our hardships. You may or may have heard something like, “get out of your own way…” As hard as that might be to hear, more often than not it’s true. We sometimes get so overwhelmed by the negative that we can’t see past the fog and the resolution or a better outcome might be right in front of us.
Our perspective begins to form the moment we arrive into this life. We are taught by those raising us whether it be our parents, guardians, our teachers, friends, and even sometimes the towns, cities, and culture we grow up in. Perspective is how we’ve come to see the world in our own lives and the lives of others. What we may not realize is that our perspective is directly linked with our mental well being, in other words our emotional state. “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” -Thoreau
